Carmen the Dog needs a home
Sweet Carmen has not had a very good life. She was allowed to roam and face all the dangers that come with that.—Xrays show she has been shot with a BB gun in the past and still has some pellets in her. No one cared enough to have her spayed or to put her on monthly heartworm prevention, and she is now heartworm positive. Despite being let down by humans, she has a forgiving soul and still loves people and is always ready to snuggle. Carmen is a female black lab mix. We’ve put her in the 5-8 year range. She could be a bit younger as our vet estimates she’s 4-5 years old. She weighs 42 lbs. We will have her spayed and treated for heartworms. Carmen will be ready to go to a new home around April 1st, but you can apply for her now.
